The big Seattle Boat Show is on, 48° North is here, and we want to see you! Come say hi!

Today is one of our favorite days of the boating year, and that’s notable because it’s not a day on the water. When the announcement is made that the Seattle Boat Show is open, a cheer goes up from the industry vendors. For some, it’s the exciting prospect of boat or gear sales that motivates the “hurrah!” For the 48° North crew, we send up our happy holler for the one-of-a-kind week of connection—with readers, with advertisers, with those offering innovative new products or sharing expertise, and mainly with boat folk of every stripe who stop by our booth.

This year’s boat show is full of exciting stuff: the boats obviously, but also special events and ever-more excellent seminars. Whether you’re actively shopping for a boat, eager to chat with a particular gear manufacturer, casually browsing, or just interested in learning more about boats and llife afloat in the Pacific Northwest, it’s a fun and fantastic way to spend a few hours or a few days!
