After one year of glory in 2021, the WA360 adventure race is once again getting it’s time to shine, as it will now rotate years with the Race to Alaska.
The wait is over. Hints have been dropping, teasing the possibilities, and now it’s time to reveal the details of the next bucket list item that Northwest Maritime has cooked up for you: WA360. The race kicks off in Port Townsend on June 28, 2025. With waypoints at Olympia, Goat Island, Bellingham Bay, and Point Roberts, teams have until July 12 to finish right back where they started at the Northwest Maritime Center.
WA360 is a 360-mile race through Washington’s finest saltwater, powered solely by breeze and brawn. Whether you’re harnessing the wind in the Wind Division or relying on pure human power in the Muscle Group, this race is a true test of endurance, strategy, and skill.
But WA360 is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of our shared waterways and a chance to connect with Washington’s vibrant water communities, all with your eye on the prize. The two class winners will be immortalized forever upon the WORLD CHAMPION belts, and beyond that, side bets and youth bonuses create a challenge and a path to triumph for all.
Visit the race website to learn the details, including race rules, registration info, and how you can get involved—whether by racing, supporting, or celebrating from the beach.
