Calypso Ultrasonic Wind Meters
Small and robust, the Ultrasonic Portable Mini and Ultrasonic Portable Solar are handheld, Bluetooth, battery-powered wind meters that measure wind speed and direction with ultrasonic sensors that have no moving parts. You read that right — an anemometer with no moving parts. They come with a free app called Anemotracker that allows users to log data and customize their wind settings. And both units can be connected to a display or network: the NMEA Connect Plus gets the Portable Bluetooth signal and converts it to a wired or NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 signal.
