For this Throwback Thursday (#TBT) we’re tossing it back to an excellent safety video published in 2011…
Many boaters likely have a LifeSling on their vessels, but how many actually know how to use them? Do you know what to do if someone falls overboard?
With boating season approaching, it’s a good time to review safety procedures and equipment. This excellent 11-minute video produced by The Sailing Foundation is a few years old, but the techniques it demonstrates on how to use a LifeSling to rescue a person overboard in both upwind and downwind situations are timeless.
