Hosted by Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle, J/Fest is back for 2023! All J/Boats and their crews are welcome to join the fun and help celebrate 40 years of J/Fest!

Originally started in 1983, J/Fest is a two-day regatta that will take place on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 on the waters of Puget Sound off Shilshole Bay and Meadow Point. It has long been great way for owners, crew, and fans of J/Boats to share the water, enjoy themselves, and relish some great racing; and this 40th-anniversary event may be the best yet!

Since J/Boats range in size and style, there will certainly be some one-design classes, but handicap racing and a cruising class(es) will be big part of the event too. Race courses will typically be windward/leeward and may include gates, offsets, and jibe marks. Four races or more are planned for each day and the target race duration is 40 to 60 minutes.

The entry fee is $150 per boat (https://cycseattle.org/event-5192944 and a $25 late fee will be assessed for registrations after noon on Wednesday, June 7). Each boat’s registration fee includes two tickets for the Saturday evening dinner at the CYC Clubhouse, with amazing food from Taki’s Mad Greek, including beef and chicken Kabobs, Greek salad, rice pilaf, tzatziki sauce and pita bread.

Fans and Spectators are welcome to socialize at the CYC Clubhouse where the bar will be open from 5:30 p.m. to close on Saturday and Sunday.

Regatta Schedule:

The event is limited to J/Boats. Starts will be provided for One-Design, PHRF and Cruising classes. One-design class fleet starts will be offered for J/Boat classes with five or more boats entered. Entries for handicapped racing must have current PHRF-NW ratings.
