Unfortunately this weekend’s Swap Meet is a no-go. Fingers crossed for next spring!
Things were looking good, dates were picked and plans were made, and boat-folk around the Pacific Northwest had started clearing their lazarettes, dock boxes, and garages — preparing to pass along their unwanted equipment. It seemed like the first Fisheries Supply/48° North Swap Meet in two(!) years could be done safely.
Then as the weeks passed, the current COVID-19 wave made group gatherings complicated once again. The good folks at Fisheries have made the prudent and understandable decision to postpone the swap meet until 2022.
Stay positive, boat pals. And don’t throw out your unused boating gear just yet. We will swap again in 2022! Keep an eye out for details in 48° North and at Fisheries Swap Meet page: www.fisheriessupply.com/swap-meet
Here’s Fisheries Supply’s announcement:
To our loyal customers and friends,
After weighing the risks and benefits to our employees, customers and our local community of holding Swap Meet during this latest surge of COVID infections, we have decided to postpone the return of the Swap Meet until April of 2022.
We will announce the date closer to the event.
Stay healthy!
