The 2025 edition of the Eugene Yacht Club’s (EYC) “Live on the Edge” Multihull regatta is only 5 weeks away!
The regatta also serves as the 2025 Weta North American West Coast Championship and is incorporated in the 2025 Seaspray North American Championship, June 6 -8. Visit the event page for registration and see who is already registered. Discounted early bird registration will end on May 25.
“Live on the Edge” usually has a one design fleet of Hobie 16s, and this year one design fleets for Weta and Seaspray with their own class championships, and the Larry Cox Division, a mixed fleet sailing under the Portsmouth handicap system. Incorporated in all the racing will be the Jerry Valeske Team Trophy and the overall “Live on the Edge” Pennant. See rules posted on the event page.
Fern Ridge reservoir is filled to the brim, so the “playground” is as large as it will get. If you have never participated in this event, go to the EYC Multihull Fleet page and click on the past Regatta Reports and Photo Archive to get a flavor of what they have to offer: great location for spending a weekend of sailing, shared with other multihull enthusiasts.
