Using pictures from our first Women at the Helm buoy race on July, 25 — some by the amazing Jan Anderson — I made this little tribute to our badass sailing community. Can’t wait to see you out there!
Women at the Helm: “Going the Distance” (September 19) is Sloop Tavern Yacht Club’s second race for 2020 intended to create opportunities for women to drive. The rest of the crew can be any mix of women and men, but skipper needs to identify as female. This race is a distance version of the Women at the Helm Regatta. Due to USCG permitting restrictions, registration for this regatta is limited to 25 boats.
