If your organization is interested in being a life jacket loaner program host, the 2026 Sea Tow Foundation Life Jacket Loaner Program Grant Application is now open. Submissions will be accepted through Saturday, February 28.
Selected applicants will have the opportunity to establish and maintain a life jacket loaner station stocked with life jackets in various sizes, available for boaters to borrow free of charge for the day, promoting safety on the water. To apply, please CLICK HERE.
Applicants may choose from the following options:
- Life jackets and a loaner stand building kit to establish a new loaner station or replace an existing stand
- Life jackets only
- Life jackets to distribute to participants at recurring events or to outfit organization-owned boats for public use
Current grant recipients do not need to reapply annually unless they wish to replenish their supply of life jackets or establish an additional life jacket loaner station.
Applicants must be based in the United States or U.S. territories.
All applicants will be notified of the reviewers’ decisions by April 30, 2026. Grant materials, including life jackets and/or stand building kits, will be shipped to grant recipients in May of 2026.
