We always thought the boating and sailing community needed a better events calendar to help the public know about the extraordinary number and variety of on-the-water and nautical events in Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Victoria, and all the boaty harbors in between. Race to the Straits
The annual Race to the Straits organized by the Sloop Tavern Yacht Club is for single- and double-handed crews over two days. The course goes from Shilshole Bay to Port Townsend with fun at the Northwest Maritime Center after the first day. The second day sends racers back south to Shilshole Bay. Open to all, registration is $135.
